Water Quality Assessment Course - Online, from UNESCO-IHE

Dr. Peter Kelderman, member of the Management Committee of our Specialist Group, has asked us to give some attention to one of the online Courses at his Institute, UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, in Delft, The Netherlands. The Institute has, for more than 50 years, given MSc and short Courses on Water Science, Engineering and Management, especially for professionals in developing countries and countries in transition.

From 2 March-30 June 2009, the first online Course on Water Quality Assessment will take place (click here to download brochure). The Course has a study load of about 8 hours per week and is designed for professionals actively involved in water quality monitoring and management. The deadline for application will be: 2 February 2009.

I like the links you have to international water management organizations, from the US-EPA, to Malaysia. Adding links to the organizations of more of our Specialist Group members would be of good interest, and benefit.
