1st Asia Pacific Regional Young Water Professionals Conference

The 1st Asia Pacific Regional Young Water Professionals Conference will be open on 8 December 2008 in Gwangju, Korea.

This conference aims to be a platform for Young Water Professionals (students and water professionals under 35 years old) to network, present their work and meet their peers.

The conference will consist of formal presentation of papers and posters and will try to answer the following questions:

  • How to maintain reliable water resources?
  • How to cope with water demands in fast urbanization?
  • Are there any technical solutions for rural water and wastewater treatment?
  • How to reduce CO2 emission from water-related processes?
  • Is the water safe?
  • What are you doing in your laboratory for the advanced water technology?
